JKSSB Issues Major Notice for JKP Constable Candidates
Srinagar, Nov 10: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced a final opportunity for candidates under consideration for the posts of Constable (Armed/SDRF/IRP/Executive) in the Home Department to complete their document verification process.
According to the official notification issued by Reyaz Ahmad Malik (JKAS), Controller of Examinations, JKSSB, this supplementary verification will be conducted on November 12, 2025 (Wednesday), from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM, at the JKSSB Central Office, Zam Zam Complex, Rambagh, Srinagar.
The Board stated that this is the last and final opportunity for those candidates who were earlier scheduled to appear between October 27 and November 10, 2025, but failed to attend due to various personal or unavoidable reasons. JKSSB has made it clear that no further claims or representations will be entertained once this date passes.
The recruitment process pertains to Notification No. 01 of 2024, dated July 16, 2024, covering item numbers 01, 02, 05, and 06, for multiple wings of the J&K Police — including Armed Police, SDRF, IRP, and Executive wings.
Officials said the document verification is a critical stage of the recruitment process, following the written and physical tests already conducted earlier this year. Only candidates who have been shortlisted under the “consideration zone” are eligible to appear before the verification committees on the newly announced date.
The notification emphasizes that candidates must bring all original documents, including educational certificates, domicile, category certificates, and any other relevant documents, for verification. Incomplete documentation or failure to appear will lead to cancellation of candidature without any further notice.
JKSSB has also requested the Directorate of Information and Public Relations (DIPR) to ensure wide publicity of this notice through leading newspapers to avoid any communication gap.
The Board urged all shortlisted candidates to check their roll numbers and eligibility status on the official website www.jkssb.nic.in and ensure their presence at the scheduled venue and time.
This development comes as JKSSB accelerates its ongoing recruitment cycles for various departments, with a focus on filling long-pending vacancies in the Home Department under the current government’s drive to strengthen law enforcement infrastructure across the Union Territory.
